Tag Restaurant in Denver has always been one of my favorite places to eat. While I started the evening thinking I wanted a steak, all the downtown steak places were booked for when we wanted to eat. So Tag got everyone’s vote and off we went, the 2 1/2 blocks to this Larimer location.
I started the evening by guessing our waitperson was from Australia and she promptly said she was from “LONDON”, but after that faux pas things went swimmingly. Tag didn’t really have charcuterie available this night, but my appetizer was an echo of my Porcini Mushroom Pate Terrine and was an unbelievably creamy porcini mushroom, prosciutto, pea and onion delight and dinner was the duck breast. Big WOW for me. We also had a big hunk of Halibut and we were alerted also to the fact the pork ternderloin was perfect. Great friends, business talks, food and fun!
