Yes there is such a thing as low country boil done in Charcuterie Style. I witnessed it first hand at Cris and Dan’s last Tuesday in Denver. With a variety of new and relatively new friends we sat down to drinks, food, dessert, conversation and laughs around a table spewing with shrimp, andouille sausage, chorizo sausage, potatoes, corn on the cob, onions and Terry’s wonderful best-ever cole slaw.
There isn’t any better way to turn new and relatively new friends into old friends. And isn’t that what good food and libation is all about? Breaking down the barriers of conversation is always easy when talking about food.
And then to liven things up and start pushing the envelope, try adding a fast game of Cards Against Humanity to add a bit of insanity to the event.
