Our friends John and Barbara Bloodgood were meeting us for dinner last Saturday when the first reservation didn’t take - an Internet error… can you believe.
So we got them to make a quick detour to Coohills Restaurant in LoDo- Lower Downtown Denver if you are new to the city.
We started the evening requesting a charcuterie tray, and while it wasn’t on the menu as the offerings are changed quite frequently, our server, Leslie, got this wonderful tray put together by the able staff.
The pates were fabulous like last time, very, very French style and the surrounding meats, cornichons and mustard with toasted bread made the charcuterie an absolute delight.
Paired with a great Sancerre (Have I ever had a bad Sancerre? No!) we finished and headed to dinner inside. I had the duck which melt in your mouth delectable. Yes, we will be returning.
