Over the years, I have been living the Charcuterie Lifestyle, and didn't even know it.
I have always enjoyed having friends over to my house. When I was younger, much younger, instead of a sit down dinner, I liked to prepare a smorgasbord of different selections for everyone to choose from. I would have plates of chipped ham, slices of roast beef and turkey with mayonnaise, yellow mustard and Heinz Ketchup, accompanied with Dill Pickles and Sweet Pickle Relish with Wonder Bread Rolls on the side for sandwiches. I would set out cubes of Mild Cheddar and White Cheddar Cheese with toothpicks. Ritz crackers where always a hit along with Cain’s potato chips and Planters Peanuts. Coca Cola, Ginger Ale, 7-Up, along with cold Budweiser’s were always on the menu with a bottle of Blue Nun.
